Mali

IntraHealth International supported International Medical Corps (IMC) to improve the use of health information systems (HIS) for public health and to improve the disease surveillance system in Mali through the Global Health Security for Partner Engagement project. Starting in 2015, IntraHealth supporting the work to align Mali’s HIS system and eHealth framework with the Ministry of Health’s policy and needs in prevention and management of infectious disease outbreaks. Subsequently IntraHealth assissted with the development and operationalization of standard operating procedures for the launch of mHero and IVR to enable two way communication between the Ministry and health workers and to reinforce health workers’ knowledge and skills. IntraHealth collaborated with MEASURE Evaluation and local government stakeholders to ensure interoperability between iHRIS, DHIS2, and mHero.
